Description
This matte bronze holly leaf pendant was individually handcrafted from bronze, using a real holly leaf. The leaf is consumed in the creation process, making each pendant truly one of a kind. Strung on a support of entwined leather cords which simulate a vine entwined with a branch, the pendant is extendable from 22-24″.
Fun fact: did you know that holly leaves are often smooth-sided, and only develop the multiple “spikes” we’re familiar with from holiday cards and decor in response to the plants being munched on by deer or other animals? So it’s not uncommon to find a holly plant with spiky leaves at munching levels and smoother leaves higher up. For your wearing comfort, this is a single-spike leaf, which has been significantly blunted at the tip!
